Values are the specific aspects of truth that we feel the Holy Spirit
has both gifted and called us to emphasize. The omission of many obvious
Christian virtues or principles, such as the importance of family, or
physical healing, does not mean that we do not value or practice them,
but only that we do not feel God has called us to particularly emphasize
them in our ministry at this time.
Spiritual
Experience
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!
Psalm 34:8
There's
a big difference between knowing about God,and knowing Him.
We want both!
Grace
... to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which
He made us accepted in the Beloved.
Ephesians
1:6
Our
message is not what we do for God, but what He has done for us!
Drinking
the Holy Spirit
Drink, yes, drink deeply, O beloved ones!
Song of Solomon
5:1
Is
it possible to be too filled with the Spirit?
The more we're under His influence, the better for us and for those around
us.
Joy
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say, rejoice!
Philippians 4:4
"Fullness
of joy," "a continual feast," "good tidings of great
joy," "joy inexpressible and full of glory" independent
of circumstances!
The
Father-Love of God
... the Father Himself loves you ...
John 16:27
There
is no greater blessedness than to be a child
of the best Father in the universe!
Liberty
Now the Lord is the Spirit;
and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
II Corinthians
3:17
Freedom
to be the unique person the Father intends us to be,
and to do what He intends us to do.
Overcoming
... in all these things we are more than conquerors
through Him who loved us.
Romans 8:37
By
Jesus' blood, and by the word of our testimony,
we triumph over every work of the enemy.
Balance
Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have
heard from me,
in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
II Timothy
1:13
God
gave us both sides of our brains,
and wants us to love Him with all our mind
as well as all our heart and soul!
