"He who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men."
I Corinthians 14:3

An aspect of ministry that has become increasingly precious to us is praying for individuals who desire a touch from God. Often as we do so, the Holy Spirit begins to guide our prayers in very specific ways. This is mainly what we mean by prophetic ministry -- simply entering into the flow of the Father's heart, and sharing His words of grace and encouragement with His children. As people sense the love and power of their heavenly Father, their spirits are often deeply touched. While I do not usually emphasize physical healing in my preaching, we nevertheless see Him touch people in their bodies regularly. More often, we find Him bringing healing and release and refreshing to heavy, troubled, or wounded hearts.

This is an aspect of ministry in which Lisa especially excels. She has a gift of gentleness and compassion, and has learned (and is still learning, she would be quick to say!) to listen to God as she prays, and move with what He shows her.

While we love to serve the body of Christ in this way, we certainly don't see ourselves as "superstars" who need to do all the prayer ministry. We are happy to flow with any prayer team that has been prepared in the church, or to simply serve as minstrels, releasing the prophetic anointing as others minister in prayer.
